Blessing of the Bikes Ride by Pastor Bobby

Anyone interested in going on the ride should arrive at Vandervest in Peshtigo between 9:00am and 9:30am to sign the release forms. At 9:45am Pastor Bobby will bless the bikes and we will leave at 10:00am.

The majority of this year's ride will be a new route thanks to help from Bob Reines and his knowledge of county roads. Our first stop will be Camp Shakey for about 30 minutes and then on to the Wildwood Restaurant in Hermansville for lunch, about an hour. After lunch we are heading to the Pine Mountain Ski Lift in Iron Mountain. There is a veterans memorial at the top and a beautiful overlook. It’s something to see. Louise and I climbed to the top of the jump with snow on it, 40 plus years ago, not again! We will then ride around Lake Antoine. Next stop will be to stretch and get gas in Pembine. We will end up at John’s Subway in Wausaukee. Everyone will be able to find their way home from there.

The ride will be 140 plus miles and we should be in Wausaukee around 4:00pm. If there is light rain we ride, heavy rain, the ride is off and will try again. Hope you can make it!

Vandervest Harley-Davidson of Peshtigo and the Wild Fire HOG Chapter, recently held their annual "Soup R Bowl" Fundraising event.
Twenty three different types of soups were entered into the contest this year along with a wide selection of baked goods. Awards went to Becky Reince for her pea soup, Jake Wagner for his beer cheese soup and MJ Kapla with her Chicken Jambalya Soup. Proceeds went to the Peshtigo Bulldogs Booster Club.
