Hello Wild Fire HOG Chapter:
Monday, Rob Kane stopped in the dealership to purchase his son, Bryce, his birthday gifts. Bryce celebrated his 10th birthday on the 10th of March. I informed him that it is Rick's birthday on March 11th. (the next day).
Rob, Sandy and their son, Bryce, came to the dealership on Tuesday with a birthday card that Bryce created for Rick on Monday night. They had an appointment for Bryce's yearly cancer scan in Green Bay and everything looked good.
Bryce was one of our cancer ambassador's from 2012 and last year for the Jerry Parin's Cruse for Cancer Ride, he road in Rick's sidecar with Faye Johnson's grandson. Bryce's mother, Sandy, rode behind Rick and Bryce's father, Rob, drove one of the convertibles.
We all truly touched this family with the ride. We will be forever friends and they are hooked on Harley-Davidson ever since!
Lynn Vandervest
(Date for this year's Jerry Parin's Cruise For Cancer is Saturday, June 14th so mark your calendars please)

Vandervest Harley-Davidson along with the Wild Fire HOG Chapter of Peshtigo raised $1185.00 For the Grover-Porterfield Volunteer Fire Department. A "Soup R Bowl" event was held at the dealership a day before the Superbowl game.

The dealership and chapter, along with family members of the fire department donated 20 soups and desserts to be sampled and voted on. The dealership supplied gift certificates to the winners of the soup contest. Jeff Larmay from Vital Signs, Oconto and MJ Kapla from Green Bay also added raffle items for the day.

Special thank you to all that attended the event and to all that donated soups and desserts.
